BLUMENTHALSTRAßE 8
For Berlin Art Week September, 2012 I was invited to do a site-specific installation at Sassa Trülzsch Gallery in the staircase tower of the building. The space was once the servants’ entrance to the building before it was divided post-WWII and the staircase was sealed off. Using the original 1875 architectural plans found at the district Bauamt of the gallery building Blumenthalstraße 8 I created six chalk line drawings in and of the staircase itself.
